Phone Service

Phone Service Archives District Contacts

When someone calls the AA number in our district, the call gets answered by volunteers from the district.
This is done by groups taking responsibility to answer dedicated cell phones for one or two phones for a month at a time.
There are two phones for male callers, and two phones for female callers.

If your group is interested in doing this vital 12th step work, contact your GSR, or come to a district meeting.
For more information see the following flyers.

Phone Service Archives District Contacts

Those old business meeting minutes being stored in that box with the coffee and big book might not seem like they have value.
District 43 Archives has found that they do have value and help to shed light on the past.
Please don’t throw your minutes away, send them to us.
We are also interested in old, (and new) formats, flyers and any written information about your group.

Any group wishing to preserve their history can fill out a group history form, which will be kept in the vaults of the Archives.

Contact a GSR or email District 43 Archivist if you need more information.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
